What is Frosted Glass?
Light-Diffusing Finish, Permanently Etched — Frosted glass is created by treating the glass surface with acid etching or fine abrasive blasting, producing a microscopically rough texture that scatters light as it passes through. The result is translucent rather than transparent: light flows freely, but shapes and detail dissolve into a soft blur. Unlike adhesive films, an etched frost is integral to the glass — it will not peel, bubble, yellow or lift at the edges.
